AGT Code® is committed to protecting and securing your personal data. This Privacy Notice describes how we collect and process personal data when you use the agtcode.pt website, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and other applicable legislation.

AGT Code only collects data strictly necessary to respond to contacts and support requests. It is not necessary to create an account to browse the website.

We do not collect location data, payment data, browsing data for advertising purposes, or any other type of data that is not essential for responding to requests made.
2.1. Children and Special Protection
AGT Code recognises the special protection owed to the personal data of children and implements additional measures to ensure that our applications intended for this audience are safe and fully comply with applicable legislation.
Our AnimaSom™ application, intended for children aged 3 to 8:
- Does not collect, store or transmit any personal data of children or any other user
- Works completely offline after installation, with no need for an Internet connection
- Contains no advertising, tracking systems, behavioural advertising or user profiling
- Does not allow communication, social sharing, chat or any interaction between users
- Does not require account creation or the provision of any personal information
- Includes no in-app purchases or links to external stores
These practices ensure compliance with:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 8 — Conditions applicable to child's consent in relation to information society services
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) — United States
- Google Play Designed for Families programme

- Reply to messages sent through the contact form
- Follow up on technical support requests and tickets
- Keep the user's language and theme preference between visits
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to competent authorities when required
Data is not used for direct marketing, usage profiling, behavioral advertising or any other purpose not indicated above.

- User consent when submitting the contact form or opening a ticket
- Legitimate interest of AGT Code in responding to the request addressed to it
- Compliance with applicable legal obligations
5. With whom do we share your data?
AGT Code does not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Data sent through the contact form or ticket system is handled exclusively by the AGT Code team.
The website servers are located in the European Union, in compliance with the GDPR.
6. How long do we keep your data?
- Contact form messages: up to 12 months after reply, unless the user requests earlier deletion
- Support tickets: up to 24 months after ticket closure, to allow follow-up by the same user
- Preferences stored locally in the browser: until the user removes them or clears browser data

As data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Access — know which of your data is being processed
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data
- Restriction — restrict processing in certain situations
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD)

8. Cookies
The website only uses technical cookies strictly necessary for its operation — namely to save the user's chosen language preference and theme (light/dark).
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any other tracking, profiling or behavioral advertising tool.
9. Security
AGT Code adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These measures include HTTPS transmission, storage on servers within the European Union and restricted access to data only by authorized personnel.
10. Mobile applications
AGT Code provides mobile applications through third-party distribution platforms (Google Play). Each application has its specific privacy policy, accessible from the product page on the website and from its Google Play listing.
The AnimaSom application does not collect any personal data — see the AnimaSom Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
